While you can handle your own bookkeeping, especially for a small business, hiring a qualified bookkeeper can save you time, reduce errors, and ensure compliance with UK tax regulations. A bookkeeper can also provide valuable insights into your financial health.

Generally, it’s recommended to have your books kept at least monthly, but this can vary depending on your business’ specific needs. More frequent bookkeeping can provide better visibility into your financial performance and help you identify potential issues early on.

Bookkeeping is the process of recording financial transactions, while accounting involves analysing and interpreting these records to make informed business decisions. While bookkeeping is a crucial part of accounting, it’s often a specialised task handled by bookkeepers.

As  an Intuit Quickbooks Platinum Proadvisor, we mainly use QuickBooks Online,  but can also use other popular software if that’s your preference such as Xero or FreeAgent to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and easy access to your financial data. These cloud-based solutions also allow for real-time collaboration and secure data storage.

We prioritise data security and adhere to strict compliance standards. Our bookkeeping software uses advanced encryption and security measures to protect your sensitive financial information. We also have policies in place to safeguard your data from unauthorised access.

Not necessarily, we can offer you a remote solution. However, you are welcome to make an appointment to visit our office in Fareham. We are flexible to provide a service that works best for you!
